This welcoming lodge sleeps up to five guests and offers a peaceful base in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, with breakfast provisions included, beautiful views and the River Black Water close by.

Set in a wonderfully rural location among mountains, woodland and open countryside, the lodge is just around the corner from Ben Wyvis and within easy reach of the North Coast 500. The building dates back to 1850, when it formed part of a traditional hunting lodge built for the local laird, giving the property plenty of Highland character and history.

It is an excellent choice for families, couples, walkers, outdoor enthusiasts and travellers exploring the NC500. Whether you are looking for adventure, sightseeing, walking, cycling or simply somewhere peaceful to relax, the lodge provides a comfortable base from which to discover some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.

Guests also benefit from free off-road parking and the convenience of an on-site pub and restaurant serving food.

The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed and its own en-suite shower room.

There is also a second small bedroom with access to its own toilet and wash basin, offering useful additional facilities for families or groups.

The lounge is a comfortable and sociable space with a three-seater sofa, two-seater sofa, coffee table, sideboard and television. There is also a double bed in the lounge, which can be used to provide sleeping accommodation for up to two additional guests when required.

The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dining table and chairs, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together during your stay.

Heating is provided by modern electric radiators throughout the lodge, while hot water is supplied by a dedicated hot-water cylinder.

Outside, guests have access to a private garden area where they can enjoy the fresh Highland air and peaceful surroundings.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire lodge and garden throughout their stay. The property is fully self-contained, allowing you to enjoy your Highland break in complete privacy.

We now use coverless duvets throughout the property. These are fully washed after every guest stay, helping us maintain a high standard of cleanliness and providing each new arrival with a fresh sleeping environment.
